I am using the GMC 300 Counter. When the Alarm is set and the critical Limit is reached, the counter gives a very short beep every second. Here at my work or in other places, this is quite a little bit short to hear it due to a lot of noises around me. Is there a way to change the alarm sound like the beep takes 0,5 seconds and then an half second of pause and than 0,5 beep and so on. Like the frequency of the Hazard light in the car.

Thank you

For the current version, alarm volume and type is fixed. But we can connecte the GMC-300 to the computer, then the computer software may produce a different alarm signal. The computer software should be easier to cntrol the alarm volume.

Thanks,

but the Problem is, it is complicated to carry a computer with me ;)

How is the Alarm tone made? Is is made with a special IC (which I can maybe replace for an other Alarm tone) or is it made by the Counter's software which need to be reprogrammed for an different Alarm tone?
