I recently purchased the GMC-300 (FW 2.11) and have been monitoring for a couple days now. I have the driver and software loaded and have looked at the data. I'm looking forward to "real time" software monitoring.
Is it normal for the unit to turn itself off a few seconds after the data is downloaded to the computer?
Thanks for the support. I like the unit.

The unit should not "itself off a few seconds ". I think that my be caused by the communication error after download.

Please make sure your used latest software. And select GMC-300 in the model field.

OK Thanks. I am using the latest software with the correct settings. Most of the time all appears fine. I have seen the symptom 3 times after downloading the data 9 times. I'll keep experimenting.

Just did a download of a few days-worth of data. Unit powered itself afterwards. Latest software, etc. A bug somewhere? Is there a workaround?

Can you repeat it? if you can reproduce it easily, then it should be easily fixed.
