| Where is the full install zip file of Geigerlog for Windows10? The file in Sourceforge is for an update but I have nothing to update as I have never installed any version in the first place. |

I didn't see it in the files area but now it is there today, 3/9/2024. One wonders where all the files hide at night.  |

Now all I have to do is figure out Python, what version works, extras needed where ever they are before getting to Geigerlog.
Is it possible to exclude the excruciatingly detailed Python and Geigerlog installation instructions and hours of trial and error and get to a working copy of Geigerlog? |

| Thanks ihab17. I was able to start Geigerlog with Python 3.11. I'll figure out Geigerlog tomorrow morning. |

Geigerlog 1.4.1 (Windows version) is connected to my GMC600 and Mapping is valid. Only problem is every log item records a zero for CPM or CPS or any of the others. I have changed the log duration from 1 sec to 60 sec and still zeros except by minutes instead of seconds. The graphic screen on the righthand side of Geigerlog is flat lined with zero CPM being graphed for each time duration. Looking at a saved CVS file shows that there are NO problems with the CPM values.
There must be something I have to set in the geigerlog.cfg file that needs to be tweaked but I have tweaked it too the max to no avail. So now what? |

Edit geigerlog.cfg, go to this section, and change the last line to yes. Save, and close, run GL
[GMC_Device]

| Hi ihab17. I already had GMC_Activation set to "yes". It's still not working. I am beginning to think that GMC600+ version 2.52 changed something that is not accounted for in Geigerlog 1.4.1 but just guessing. |

This is what the "GQ Geiger Counter Data viewer V2.63", download looks like, opened in DB browser. The arrangement is: Date. time, Every Second, uSv/hr, CPM, Each of the 60 seconds of minute 19. I would have expected the "42" to be pulled by Geigerlog but no such luck. Instead Geigerlog pulled "0"! Maybe I need to change the GMC600+ to log in minutes rather than seconds. I'll give it a try... . .

1) The saved CSV file generated by GQ Geiger Counter Data viewer pulled up using Geigerlog, plots what I expect around 42CPM. All seems well. This was after I changed the GMC600+ to minute logging. The CSV file was a mixture of second and minute logging but it did display CPM of what I expected.
2) Within Geigerlog, the Quick Log NotePac still displays zeros and the righthand graphic displays zero CPMs. This is with a log cycle of 60 sec within Geigerlog and 1 minute within the GMC600+.
So far no active Log data/graphics are working for me.

| Fixed the problem above by updating to 1.4.3 as there was a REAL problem with Geigerlog. |
