Will the alarm sound if the Speaker is OFF? I don't want to hear the normal clicking, but I want the Alarm to be heard if it goes off.

Yes. There is a toggle for alarm on / off in the alarm options.

OK - so even though I have the speaker set to OFF, if the alarm is toggled ON, I will hear the alarm when it is triggered?
