Hello,

I've bought a brand new 300S unit and it's a v1.5 revision version in the menu About page.
Some questions:

1) how to know which firmware it has and is it possible to update in future?
2) is the tube always the M4011 or may have been released with different ones? any suggestion for a future tube upgrade?
3) sometime the screen seems to become blank (without any pixel powered) for a couple of seconds, quite rarely but anyway is it ok?
4) I saw only later that the GMC-SE version was released. Beside USB-C and 2MB storage, what changed internally? Can I use a similar protective case with the 300S? I've read the tube may not resist to accidental hits on the plastic case during readings around.

Thanks :)
Bye

Hi f982,
1. The firmware revision can be found on the Main Menu -> About -> Revision. For updates email your serial number to support to check.
2. the 300S are released with m4011 compatible tubes.
3. I believe it is every 10 minutes it has to refresh the LCD
4. That is it for the changes. The S units are tested at 3ft drops and seems to be ok with it.

Thank you! So I have a v1.5 firmware (I was thinking it was the hardware revision number) and I'll write to know if there'll be updates for it. I'm new to these devices and this is my first one.
