Hello!
Got question as new user :-)

As I see anyone can upload Geiger counters own data. Is there a kind of mechanism, which helps GMC Map to be reliable source of data?

Now, any data is acceptable, so, published data can be not valid, wrong (by mistake or intentional), incorrect - and so on. GMC map has "protection" to filter data?

Regards!

Well, I think so... Now there is a lot of "strange" data, where in one place with 0CPM, 9CPM, 17CPM and 29CPM nearby. Maybe it will be good way to put filters or data verification method?

Indeed, anyone can publish any data, any values, anywhere, anytime. You don't even need a counter; any browser will do.
