Hi, I installed the software to download the data log and acquire data in real time. But the software crashes randomly... sometimes after a few hours, sometimes after a few minutes. Is there anything I can do to fix the problem? My operating system is windows10
Also, sometimes there are gaps in the data log... for example, the device has been on since yesterday, but there are no logs between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM... How would you explain this?
datalog attacched (errata corrige, I have an error to upload the datalog.. screen of the server error --> https://ibb.co/ynk0vPPw maybe because it accept only images a not csv ? dunno)

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I installed your software and I have to say it's very advanced and well-made. Unfortunately, I can't connect to the device. The error is that it says it doesn't detect the device... I set both, the port found by the official software and "auto". I have two EMF390s, one with a USB Type-C port and the other with an older USB port. But neither are detected. If you need debugging information, just ask. I'm happy to help resolve the issue, as your software is really well-made and very advanced, so I'd love to be able to use it. Of course, I've already tried restarting the system and unplugging and replugging the USB cable. My operating system is Windows 10. I also have a Raspberry Pi 3 and could try that... but I'd prefer to fix it on Windows because I'd have to install the operating system, and I'm not sure how fast the RPI 3 is. I mean, your software, being quite large, will require significant resources that the RPI 3 doesn't have. |

Thanks. I solved the problem. I just need to edit the configuration file to activate the device. |

Even a Raspi3 should easily manage GeigerLog for an GQ EMF device! Once it is running, check the CPU usage - it should be in the single digit percent!
Not succeeding in connecting to the device is strange. As you are willing to help on this problem, I suggest:
- download and install GeigerLog 2.0
- on the GeigerLog site open a ticket: https://sourceforge.net/p/geigerlog/tickets/
- in the custom.cfg file have these entries (nothing else needed): [GEMF_Device] GEMF_Activation = yes
- connect your EMF device, and run (assuming you are on Windows): GeigerLog.bat -d
- start and log for some 1 min, then stop and exit GL
This will have created a file 'geigerlog.proglog.devel'. Post this.
