Posted - 06/03/2022 : 14:17:59 Hello all - I have an EMF-390v2 which I bought primarily for the RF spectrum analyzer. However, I the RF spectrum function only lets you pick predefined ranges. I need to see between 1-2.4GHz, which isn’t an available range.
>>> Is there a way to view this range? >>> will a different meter show this range?
It seems like there should be a user defined range. I’d rather combine 2 of the lower ranges and have this upper range (1-2.4GHz) available.
Any suggestions appreciated!

The EMF-390 collects the information, there is just no way to shift the display range down to 1-2GHz. I’m sure other customers would appreciate the ability to define their own display range. I don’t need any of the source identification they have in their pre-defined ranges, just the ability to see the spectrum.
For ranges outside the pre-defined windows, all we know is that there is an EMF spike, but as far as I can tell, no way to find the source frequency.
Medical impacts appear to vary with not just the anplitude, but also the frequency. So, the EMF-390 just tells us half of the story.

Any suggestions appreciated! I love the unit, it’s just so close to what I need that it hurts!
