i'm having issues with version 5.51(just installed a few days ago) my data shows either 0, 48, or 176 - Thats all. Also the file should only show one line of data and it is not, it is appending data every minute. Append data check box is unchecked. Thx...

The correct baud rate for GMC-300 is 57600.
Try to set baud rate to 57600 and see.

Hi Guys, Long time no see KLM.....My fault of course :)
ok so i tested again, set port setting to 115,200 from 38,400 which BTW 38,400 has always worked fine for me. It did change the data but look what it did. This is not right, is it?? The is read from the GQ300 via a usb cable and a prolific usb to serial driver. settings are COM4, 115,200, 8, N, 1, flow= none. This is a small snippet of my logfile i use to create my php webpage files located here: (h**p://racers.net/radiation). As you can see it pretty much only produces 2's in all the second's time slots. The time stamps are as follows, and the log file is below.

jokeraces, your software seems not correctly configured. Please let me know the exact procedure you logged those data. Geiger counter model, serial baud rate etc.

OR try to log the data again and see if anything differences.

Distelzombie Posted - 01/10/2016 : 22:38:13
Ok. The user can't update the firmware. I just had weird thoughts. :P The problem is probably with the software.

This might help ZLM to resolve this issue:
Did you record the log with the software itself or did you just read a log that you created with the GMC while unplugged?
jokeraces Posted - 01/10/2016 : 19:04:48
I only updated the logger software to v5.51 and v5.51 went wacko. i went back to v5.28 and that works fine. Do i need to update firmware too?
Distelzombie Posted - 01/10/2016 : 08:11:27
How did YOU update your gmc firmware?
Isn't the log created by the GMC instead of the PC program?

BTW, ZLM is the only supporter here. He's probably a developer too. So he doesn't has much time.
