Is there any way to modify the GMC-300 to run at a lower serial baud rate? I am having communication issues with the standard 57600 baud. I'd like to try it at 9600 baud. The reason is I am trying to interface the unit to a small controller and that does not handle the speed very well. I'm open to suggestions.

No. The GMC-300 fixed baud rate started on power on. No way to change it.

No way to hack it lower? New firmware?

The GMC-300 is fixed baud rate on 57600.

The GMC-320 has a variable baud rate setting.
