In the freeware version of the Data Logger software I can see the CPM and the radiation level, however in my registred version of Data LoggerPro the data is missing, everything else seem to be working smooth. Any ideas?

You can ignore this error if you are using English The Hungarian language file is in Unicode and software is unable to read it. In this case, the Hungarian language is not available in your software/system.

Have you updated your Windows after installation the Windows?

I do not have problem on my Windows 7 64bit with Service Pack 1. And Windows has updated to date by using Windows update feature.

I made sure by reinstalling the com 3 driver and checked the device manager to see what port....it is Com 3. I look at the logger display, and it still says "Unregistered demo" and in the little block to the bottom right says " Com 1 opened successfully" and "Real time monitoring started" what the heck!

I have a problem with my 200 model working perfectly at home but not here at my office. It always shows "unregistered Demo". Says "real time monitoring started but certainly is not showing anything though".

No sorry I have 64 bit

Tony, is your Win 7 is 32 bit too? We need those information to reproduce the problem in order to fix.

I have the same issue on my computer. Home built box running windows 7 pro.
ZLM Posted - 01/13/2014 : 10:40:02
The display problem is not hardware related. We need to find a way to repeat this problem on second computer.

Well a clean format and reinstall of Windows 7 didnt work either and now i'm stuck with another problem, I have registered the software too many times so it will not register anymore. :(

I have done that twice, must be some parts (registratin and possibly other parts) of the GQ Data logger pro that does not contain the name and /or string "GC" or "GQ" in the registry. Even though I delete everyhing and uninstall the software and reboot and reinstall the software is still registered, unless the software reads my serial# from the GMC-320 or check my MAC-address on my computer and then verifies that with your server with registred users. Anyways, I'll just reinstall windows now as a last resort.

Uninstall the software and then use regiedit to clean all GQ Geiger Counter related data.
This should be completely remove anything.

Roger that. Any chance of getting info on how to do a clean uninstall?
ZLM Posted - 01/12/2014 : 10:55:27
This case has been reported once before , but I am unable to reproduce it on my end. So,it is hard to know why.

-Running the program with administrator privileges changed nothing.
-Uninstalling an reinstalling did nothing (settings were not uninstalled).

Where are the registry instances associated with Data Logger Pro, I did a sweep through with regedit and removed all GM GC stuff but to to avail, settings still there even after an uninstall. At the momet I can only assume that settings are scrambled somehow but I have no idea where they are so I cannot delete them.

Windows 7 x86, no antivirus installed

What I find odd is that the regular Data Viewer is ok.

Looks like the software can not get registry information from Windows. Check your antivirus or Windows security setting. OR restart the Windows in safe mode and just try to run this software to see if it works.
