Just purchased the unit. The "set the date and time" message keeps popping up. I set the date and time and then five minutes later the date and time data is lost and I get another message to set the date and time.
Did I miss a step or is the unit defective?

Does the unit has enough battery? If so, then the unit may have some problems on the data and time. Write to support@gqelectronicsllc.com.
