ZLM,

can the output port (analog) also be used with stereo headphones, to hear the clicks (since the output train is a series of pulses during count events) without ill effect? I have a good set of Sony 32 ohm 1W phones that may be suitable, but I wanted to verify with you first, as sometimes inductive loads can cause issues with some output ports.

I did try briefly and no issue. Just confirming with you.

Thanks!

THanks ZLM. I can hear the pulse clicks on the phones when using them.

The analog data output port is for directly linking with other software via microphone port. Yes. you may be able to hear the pulse sound from th headphone, but the sound may not loud enough.
The data output port has protection function. It will not harm to the unit when plug in anything.
