Hello.
I know that magnetic fields penetrate structures like trees, walls etc, but electric fields does not.
In fact if you place your hand in front of an EMF meter when measuring electric fields the strength of the fields will be reduced.

I wondering if the plastic used on EMF 390, affect the readings of EF?
I mean that in order to measure the electric fields more accurately, the EF sensors should be placed outside of the device,
in order to avoid any interactions from materials like plastic.
Is that correct?

Hi John01, the case is kind of touching the PCB and to the sensor so it is also acting as an antenna to the EF.
