My 380V2 does not appear to measure 5Ghz WiFi from my PC or Router. I get high readings up close when connected at 2.4GHz then as soon as I switch connections to 5GHz it drops to completely normal levels even with the meter a couple of cm from the wifi card in my laptop.

Also, when is it advisable to use standard mode and when is it advisable to use standard mode. Indeed why are there two different modes in the first place. I'm using the meter most often of all in one or vertical modes.

Lastly. Are there any firmware updates? An average reading level displayed above or below the peak reading would be very useful as they bounce around all over the place and only the peak remains.

Hi sdhodges, the 'sensitive' mode is to let more frequencies get detected. But the standard mode is more accurate. Did you check the RF Browser if it detects anything when you're using 5GHz? Make sure the WiFi is transmitting something when you're trying to detect it.
