 GMC-320 V5 plus . Blank screen after a FW upgrade

The unit works fine , I did a mistake - checked with support guys for a new firmware, got and burn it and now my detector is partially dead.
It's powering on , after a logo appearing the screen turns blank.
My Emails to support answered only once in 24 Hours.

Maybe, some body here, faced this blank screen issue ?

Which revision of firmware update did you get? Maybe you can send me the update via email, then I could test it? j.p.s (at) gmx.at

Oops, maybe this is a wrong firmware? Because the last version is Re5.51.

I will come later again

So, i am back again.
You are right, it is v5.17 FW.
So, i do no want test it on my device, because my FW version is newer.
I think you must connact the support again. Maybe they give you an old link, or wrong link, or this FW is for the GMC-320 without the (+)plus?
You can try to make the update again, but i think it would not help.

Hi Wired and Geo-Johnny, the firmware won't work on other devices because the serial numbers won't match.
Wired, may I ask when did you purchase your 320+V5?

Purchased from Amazon on May-9-2018 .

In the meantime John from GQ support trying to assist me with this issue trough Email .

This issue was solved by GQ support team by "cooking" a new firmware from some parameters I provided ,
by they request .
@Geo-Johnny - my new firmware is 5.17

Ok, thanks for the information and congratulations to the support that your device works again. Now we know that it depends on the production period and the serial number, even if the devices have the same type. Interesting, but the guys from the forum and the support are great. Luckily I did not try your firmware to my device. We now know what to do for the future.
