Hi all

Just a quick question - I have just bought the GQ GMC 300E PLUS.
Maybe a stupid question but is the counter safe to use around pregnant women?

Thanks!
David

Absolutely YES, they are safe. Those devices DO NOT TRANSMIT any nuclear part, they are simply detectors and receivers. They only count what they receive, they do not transmit anything radioactive

That surely is a new question around here!

This counter, and these days almost all small, electrically powered devices, use Lithium-Ion (LiIon) batteries. You may have seen pictures from exploded/burned Smartphones, Laptops, and Electric Cars. If you are concerned about LiIons, get rid of those things first!

Beyond that, I can't think of anything in a Geiger counter, which would concern me even remotely.

All the best for the things to come!
