I have a new EMF-390 and to try it out, I logged 24 hours of data, which recorded and downloaded nicely.

However, when I tried this again a day later, the downloaded data was from the first set of logged data, even though I had selected erase data from the menu. I had set the unit to record until 100% of memory is used.

I then tried a few minutes of data and that recorded fine, but I still had data from the first recording following the new few minutes worth - even though I yet again erased previous data.

Can somebody let me know why this is happening and how to permanently erase data?

Many thanks

Hi Knorbert, can you please email me your serial number?

I forgot to add - it takes over 1/2 hour to download data, not 3-5 minutes as in the user manual. Is this correct?
