Posted - 03/25/2015 : 02:34:49 Hi,
finally I managed to get my GC320 readings displayed on the map.
There are two possible ways to submit data. Manually and automatic.
Markers for manual values are white, markers for auto uploaded values are light green.
What I have noticed is, that if there are two markers in close proximity so that they overlap, the manual marker is on top and hides the marker for the auto update value.
Shouldn't that be the other way round? The auto updated value is usually the more actual and should have priority.
Another question? Will the manual values stay for like ever on the map or will they be removed after a certain time?
Thanks Nudnik |

Make sure your comport USB driver is loaded correctly. Check from the Windows device manager.

Posted - 09/21/2015 : 20:20:48 I use a different software package called RadMon. It works with the GMC detectors and is rock solid. I have been using it for a few months now and no problems. Free to boot! Try it out at radmon.org |

Posted - 08/27/2015 : 13:27:30 I finally was able to sign back into the site. Now I am having a terrible time getting my g/c to upload to computer. I receive an error, stating the communications port (regardless of com port) is not opening. Would anyone be able to help me with this? Thank you. |

Posted - 03/27/2015 : 13:16:30 It should be fixed now. The marker order. Check it again. |

Posted - 03/26/2015 : 23:44:36 In fact it does exactly the opposite. The older data are shown on top :-( |

By the way a filtering feature would be great. E.g. "Show only data, not older than 1h, 1d etc..

Posted - 03/25/2015 : 10:17:11 The markers should be arranged to the order of data submission date and time. The latest always on top. If this does not work, then it is a bug and it should be fixed.
All manually submitted data in white markers and they are not guaranteed to stay forever. The white markers will be cleaned periodically by system automatically. Unless you maintain the data regularly. OR you have a specific reason to keep it. Just write a email to support@gmcmap.com. Then it will be marked it in yellow color as a permanent marker. The permanent marker should have a short description. This permanent marker mechanism will be changed soon. User may just click the click received in the email to send the permanent marker request. This maybe meaningful for a one time even record. |
