Hi,

I'm still confused. On the diagram for the RF Browser, on the lower left corner it shows 0.01GHz, and on the lower right corner, it shows 10GHz.

On my GQ EMF-390, those numbers are not displayed, and the display continuously scrolls from right to left. Since it is continuously scrolling, how can I determined where in the RF spectrum, the signals are?

If it didn't scroll continuously, I could approximate the frequency of the signal, from its position between the 0.01GHz on the left, and 10GHz on the right.

Perhaps, I have something set incorrectly.

Also, a useful feature would be a signal gain adjustment, so that I could eliminate clutter on the display, caused by many weaker signals, and just allow the stronger signals to be displayed.

I would be grateful, for any guidance, in relation to the RF Browser points, which I made above.

Thank you for your reply. The diagram which I am referring to, is shown on the FAQs on their forum. It suggests that on the left of the diagram represents 10MHz, and on the right, represents 10GHz. In the Spectrum Analyzer section of the device, the band upper and lower limits are indicated, in the lower left and right of the display. That’s how I became confused.

Hi Tony, are you talking about the back page of the quick start guide? That is the frequency coverage and is not the real display example. It means that RF Browser covers 10Mhz to 10GHz. But it will not tell you what frequency it detected. The RF Browser is like a 3 second history/histogram with RF reading. The right part of the display is the latest data.

For the suggestion, I will let the team know and we will discuss to see if we can implement it.
