Hello, anyone know why this device wipes all preferences when the power is cycled? When I turn it back on, backlight is back at 10 and some other settings have been lost.
?

Chris

No worries! I'm sorry you received a possibly defective unit.

Hi, just wanted to thank Mark for sending the firmware update, unfortunately i had sent the unit back for replacement before i had a chance to install it.

Thanks again, Chris

They're pretty good about responding to forum posts. But you can also contact them directly at support@gqelectronicsllc.com if you like. Ron

EmfDev will probably tell you what you need to do. It may be something wrong with the meter.

I tried a few times, only saves the date. Hold power button for 3 seconds both off and on?

My EMF390 v2 keeps the setting. I changed my backlight and it keeps the settings when i power cycle. Not sure why yours does that.
