Posted - 10/14/2017 : 02:55:49 I ran into a problem with my GMC-500+.
I want to contibute to gmcmap.com. This is working fine for short intervals with a period up to 4 min. 5 minutes or longer the device does not update anymore. Power saving is disabled also screen does not turn off. Has anyone an idea, why the devices "forgets" to send data when period is 5 minutes or more? |

Please check WiFi signal level. If the WiFi signal level is low or poor, the WiFi may not keep connecting all the time.
-65dB Good You're pretty desperate to defend GQ, do you work for them?
Edit: Have you got a GMC-500+ that can communicate over WiFi with an update interval >= 5 minutes? |

In order to fix the problem, please provide more testing result.

Posted - 10/18/2017 : 16:20:42 I don't know, but I'd like to know because my GMC-500+ is the same and it seems like it must be a bug of some kind that should be fixed.
Later: It looks like the WiFi is disconnecting for some reason, something is timing out and needs to be kept awake. |
