Hi All,

I'd love to be able to link to my specific counter on the map. But I'm not seeing any URL to do this. Is it possible?

Something like h**p://www.gmcmap.com/counter.asp?id=xxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks!

If you connect your detector to Radmon.org, there is a way to query their server with a url for any station's most recent value. Search their forum for "Google Gauge" to see an example of a graphical representation. The url is in the code example.

Sorry, I have a GMC-500, so it submits the data to gmcmap over wifi, so it's not linked the a computer (just plugged into USB power).

So only way I can think of doing this is have the counter submit to a script I host, that then logs the data itself, and turns around and sends the data to gmcmap as well.

Just think it might be nice to have a simple page for a counter that shows it's last update (datetime) and what the associated count was.

Thanks!

It should be possible to open the log file with a script and read out the latest value.

Use Data Viewer software you can save the data to your hard drive while it submits the data.

Still would love to know how to grab current reading easily. The link above takes way too long to grab, and I'd feel bad about grabbing it constantly.

Any thoughts? Or some way to grab directly from the counter while it's also uploading to the site?

Actually, found it, mostly.

Would be cool to just see live data, rather than all of history though. =)
