When I use the front/sensor side of my EMF 390 and quickly brush it on my skin or clothes the EF alarm beeps and shows red extreme levels that seem to max out the emf390 with upto over 1000 EF. I also have a Erkhill EMF meter when I do this with that it can show upto 1800 EF in red. I don’t think it’s a glitch or skewed reading by swiping it over my skin quickly but is anyone else able to do this?

Hi RedDirtDog, it is static EF and is normal. A good example is when you rub a balloon against your hair or a wall enough, it can stick to it for few seconds when you let go. That is because of static EF. Rubbing the top of the meter also can give high readings of static EF.
