I have a new 600+ and Windows 10 computer. I have installed the USB driver. When I connect the 600+ via the USB port, my computer detects a device it doesn't recognize. Help!

I found and fixed the problem. The USB cable that came with the meter was defective. When I replaced it, I was able to establish a connection.

EmfDev:

I tried that and it didn't help and I believe you're right about Windows 10 having the right USB driver. However, when I plug in the meter, I get a pop-up message from Windows that it doesn't recognize the device I just connected, and the device has malfunctioned. The meter appears to work just fine and connects to my WIFI fine.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Hi jmills495, can you try to uninstall the driver using the same installer and try again without installing? I think windows 10 already has a built in driver to communicate with the device.
