I have an EMF-390 device.
I Take a measurement on a place with zero EMF and EF. The reading are always in zero all the time.
Then I move to a place with high EMF and EF fields and the device displays those values correctly.
If after that reading return to the place with zero EMF and EF the device not give me zeros any more but I have values like 2V/m and 0,5mG. While I stay in that place those values starting to drop again. This takes a lot of time.
For example.
I make the first measurement on a zero EMF and EF environment with correctly 0,0mg and 0V/m appeared on screen.
After that I move near high voltage power lines and a have 950V/m and 0,7mG.
Then I go back to zero EMF and EF environment.
I have 4V/m and 0,5mG.
After 10 minutes I have 1V/m and 0,3mG.
After 15 minutes I have 0V/m with some peaks and 0.1mG
After one hour of continuing usage in the same spot I still have 0V/m with some peaks and 0 to 0,1mG.
I close the device and 24 hours later I measured and I read 0V/m and 0,0mG again.
Why this happens?

OK. Thanks.

First of all, looks like your readings are really good in no EMF/EF area.
The EF change is normal since after you went to a high EF environment, it probably produced uneven static charge on the EMF unit and to yourself. That is why it still detects some EF. As for the EMF, after some time, the charge dissipates and spreads evenly (EF goes to 0). As it happens the charge moves and maybe it was being detected as EMF.
