Posted - 05/24/2026 : 07:36:49 hi all!
i have the gqemf 390 v2
i am getting high rf pulse readings with the Backlight enabled
i use uw/m2 . my baseline readings are 0.4-0.5 (no backlight)
as soon as i turn on the backlight i get pulses up too 30 but consistently 5,15, 25 of constant fluctuating pulsing
i have factory reset multiple times and i am on the newest firmware, i just bought the unit this month.
also my second issue is {vertical mode}, the "rf mode specifically" is super laggy once enabled. the device freezes and updates every 5-6 seconds and has a hard time switching modes after. other than that it has been a fun experience!
my rf gain is set to 10 (default) will accept any tips or advice thank you!

However, those backlight-triggered spikes (5-30 µW/m²) suggest potential EMI interference rather than actual RF exposure. Try disabling backlight during measurements for cleaner data. Regarding the vertical mode lag—this might correlate to slope 2 calibration drift under display load. Contact support; firmware updates often address performance bottlenecks. Have you tested with external power supply instead of batteries? https://slope2game.com/
