Hi,

I have my account id and my Geiger counter id.

When I enter them into the box in the GQ GMC Data Viewer and press the verify button I get the following error:

Error! Geiger Counter not found.

I can see the ids in the web page, in my account, so I am stuck.

Thanks

Kate

Hi,

This is now resolved. It looks like I had not created the device correctly. I went and added a new GC in my profile. I entered the data again and that now seems to have given me new data.

I copied out the Device ID field and pasted it into the program and that was what was needed to make it work.

I think my confusion was that the screen before seemed valid and had a number, which was wrong, but looked like the right thing.

I believe that I had previously created an entry and so, thought this was correct.

So, to anyone looking at this later, you need to have an account then go to Add Geiger Counter under your account then choose the Add A Device option, fill it out and you will get your Device Id for the maps.

This thread should now be considered done.

Hi EmfDev,

Thanks for replying.

My Account ID is 5 numbers.

My Geiger Counter ID is 3 numbers.

My device serial number (the barcode on the back of the GMC-300E) is 10 or 11, if you include the small 6.

Thanks

Kate

Hi Kate, can you check user id is around 5 digits and device id is around 11 digits?
