Hi all,

I'm using a GMC-600+ connected to a Windows PC to log background radiation continuously. It works fine at first, but after about 3–5 hours the software suddenly shows "device disconnected" even though the meter is still powered on. Unplugging and reconnecting the USB cable brings it back immediately.

I've already tried a different USB cable, a different USB port, and disabled USB selective suspend in Windows, but the problem still occurs. It doesn't seem to matter whether the CPM is low or if I'm checking a higher source.

Has anyone run into this with the GMC-600+? I'm trying to figure out if this is a firmware issue, a USB driver problem, or something with my unit before I contact support.
