Has anyone disassembled the GMC-600+ device case? Where in the case is the Geiger tube LND 7317? Which side and where should the device be applied to the measurement point? I want to know not the approximate, but the exact location of the receiver. I would be grateful for a photo of the open case.

It is often called "Pancake Tube"!

Thank you! I thought the tube should be cylindrical and elongated, like a felt-tip pen. But it turns out to be in the shape of a pill. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/zqmi3H0sXWY

Sensor is attached to the back side of the case. Mica window is showing in the back for alpha detection.
