I have detector GQ GMC-500+, bought in August 2024.
Few days ago, I got an issue with a device, that this started to show 0 CPM, 0.00 uSv/h, 0.000mR/h and null radiation with any settings - which actually cannot be so and there is clear, that something got wrong with the device.
Battery is ok (we have also tested another similar battery) - in both cases the same result.
We managed with device accurately. Visually this is like a new one. Also we have opened the backside and visually everything looks fine, all tubes are connected correctly, no any harm or damage.
We have tried Turn off / turn on the device. Also tried to make Factory Reset. But these actions did not help.
Tube1 Voltage displays 411 Volts (44%)
Tube2 Voltage displays 41.33 %

What can be the problem? How can we diagnose - what is wrong?

Open the device and try to tough the longer tube terminals with your finger and see if it can produce counts.
