This item is a brand new Complete GQ Geiger Counter GMC-080 kit. Hardware is ready for PC Windows, iPhone, iPad.

This Geiger Counter kit is 99% assembled and tested. You only need to solder the tube clips and install the geiger tube. It will accept most Geiger Tubes. The circuit board has adjustable tube voltage from 200-550V. User can adjust the voltage based on different Geiger tube installed.

The board included a high efficient tube high voltage circuit and the tuve voltage can be adjusted from 200-550V. The overall power consumption is about 9mA at typical tube voltage 380V, 15mA at 550V and 5mA at 220V.

The main board has built-in 9V battery charging circuit. With the included high capacity rechargeable battery, you do not need to change battery every day.

The main board also has a data port for logging the detected radiation data. The data port can be directly connected to your computer microphone port. It will work with GQ GMC data logger software.

This unit works with free Geiger Bot software on iPhone and iPad. Hardware interface is ready. You only need a cabel to connect the GMC-080 with microphone port on iPhone or iPad.

The board has a external DC power input for battery charging and external power supply. So, it will work continually.

The kit does NOT include Geiger tube, but the kit allows you can change to any other different sensitivity tube. The circuit is ready to go.
