I have setup the viewer and logger software on a Windows 7 system, but the meter (300E Plus) is not connecting to the software. Can someone guide with the steps to be followed?

I plan to buy the Pro software version, but I want to be sure that I can connect with USB port first, otherwise it doesn't serve any purpose.

Hi singh, you can use any port for your meter. Just make sure the port number is correct.
Once you plugged in your device, check your computer's device manager for the port number. Look under Ports for USB-SERIAL CH340. And use that port number on the data viewer to connect.

Will this work without first buying the pro version of the software?
