We want to use GMC 320 plus with ours neutron activation detector, based on Geiger tube. (50 meter from detector to GMC 320 by cabel)

Start to count by external trigger signal after impulse of plasma focus machine (total neutron yield up to 10 up 12 (billion)

We need to count data in 1 minute devided by 10 second interval (5-6 times)

Keep data on flash memory.

50m cable! Hm... Wouldn't it be better to put the gmc where the detector is, or is would it be like, destroyed by neutron radiation or something?

It's not HD video over hdmi cable, but 50m is pretty far nonetheless. Hm. I'm sure it's not possible to use a simple cable. You probably need some kind of signal amplification. I'm sure you could use an audio amplifier.

The best way is to use 50m signal data cable instead of the tube cable . Let the GMC unit with the tube together. The only thing you need is to make sure the GMC unit is safe in full weather condition. The data signal is much stable than tube signal.

All electronic devices was destroy, not by neutrons. Electromagnetic impulse. You'd better help me to make what we need. We ready to buy it.

What is your question then?
The counter can show a maximum of 65535 counts per minute. However, it can accurately count beyond that but I don't know how that looks in the data. I think I'll test this later today.
You can manipulate the data to give you 10 second segments. You don't need to reprogram the device for that.
I'm not sure if you can start and stop counting by console commands. But you can remotely start gathering data in a file. With a PC connection.

OK.

The 65535 is the display CPM limit on LCD screen. If you turn on the CPS from serial port, and calculate the CPM manually, then the maximum CPM will become 982980.
