Hi all,
i´ve registered here,because i´ve a problem with my gmc-300.
After carging the battery,i turned on the GMC-300,but the display readings are >ImSV..
I read here in the forum:
http://www.gqelectronicsllc.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4056
that i´ve to calibrate it.
I´ve done it.But my µSv readings are now very high, about 0,5µSv/h
and rapidly changing.(normally 0,1µSv/h)
I can hear a quite clicking, when the GMC-300 is turned on.
I measured the voltage with a Fluke multimeter,184V,with an Oscilloscope,around 350V,Oscilloscope+1Gigaohm resistor 408V.
Can it be the transformer inside,or is the tube damaged?
where can i get this small transformer?
hope you can help me...
best regards

You need to do a Factory Reset from menu.

Main Menu -> Init Setup -> Factory Reset.

I´ve done a factory reset, but the readings are very high.
It seems that the tube don´t work correct.I´ll trie to change it against a SIG39,which i´ve here.

If your hear the clicks very high, then the tube may be bad.
