Hey there,

I got a GMC 600 Plus last year, and got a couple of questions.

1. Which is the latest firmware version? My unit came with FW 2.23. Got it from support (v2.24).
2. Sometimes, e.g. when I'm holding the unit and navigating menu, if I incidentally touch the metal mesh shield of the detection window the unit spikes - e.g. goes to 150 CPM. Not a huge problem, but I wonder why?
3. Battery: either the unit has absolutely brilliant battery life or the battery % isn't very accurate. I haven't charged it in a looong time, but every time I power it on it says 100% battery. Then, in the menu, it says 97% 4.07V. Is this normal?

Thanks!

Hi Breach,

2. It might be due to the high voltage and EF. You can try to disassemble and put it together make sure the wire is not close to the inductor, and maybe flip the aluminum mesh shield. But I do not recommended it.
3. The battery level accuracy is around +- 10%. A fully charged battery can last for few days (~5) of continuous usage.
