Hello,
I had some high CPM countings last days up to 273 CPM in front of my house (and up to 150 inside my house). The temperature was slightly below zero. The Geiger counter was in my jacket pocket, so I dont think it was below zero itself.
Is it possible that the high countings are affected by the low temperature ?

The counter is not guaranteed to work below 0 or above 40. There's a possibility that the low temperature could have affected the counter.

The average CPM in my house is about 35 to 45 CPM with peaks up to about 100 (sometimes 120) CPM.
I measured these high CPM´s (up to 200-270 CPM) in front of my house three times now.
The countings inside of my house seem to increase lately from 35 to 45 and higher in average.
I will test it in other cold places to see if the temperature is a factor.

My Geigercounter on the geigermap gmcmap.com is in location 48.348745928343035,10.899212072585215 in Germany, Bavaria, Augsburg
The CPM countings there on the map are inside my house.

Hi GET_aki75, is it always that high? have you check to other places that have similar temperature? It shouldn't be affected by it.
