Hello
i have just received your GQ380 and it works fine so far.
So pls can you tell me the conversion from your pW/cm2 to microWatt/m2

What means Svm in pW on the left uper corner in RF Grapfh mode

Is this unit also suitable for 50 Hz EMF as we use here in Europe 50 Hz

What does -dbm mean and how is it convertet to Watts

How long does it take to charge the battery fully if it was empty

Thank you
all the best
Oswald

Hi edgar2tense, you can email me you serial number and I'll generate the firmware. You can check the serial number in Main Menu->About->Serial #.

Hello I have the GQ EMF-380 , but wanted to also update the firmware to display mW/cm2, where do i download the link??Im not sure if I have the GQ EMF-380 or the GQ EMF-380 V2? Help,Thanks

In graph mode mW/m^2 looks ok, currently 0.112 mW/m2.

If I change the RF density units to mW/cm^2 it reads 0.000 mW/cm2 in
graph mode (Sum value in pW has a value).

What am I doing wrong ?

There's not enough mW/cm2 to display or it means it's low.

.112mW/m2 = 0.0000112mW/cm2

1 mW/cm2 = 1,000,000,000 pW/cm2

Hi Oswald, thanks for purchasing 380

uW = microWatt
mW = milliwatt
1. 1 uW/m2 * (1,000,000pW / uW) * (1m2 / 10,000 cm2) = 100 pW / cm2
so conversion is 100 pW/cm2 = 1uW/m2
and 100,000 pW/cm2 = 1mW/m2

2. It's Sum, and it's the sum of the rf power within that range/band.

3. Yes, I should display power line if it detects 50MHz frequency in EMF mode, also you can see its
frequency in Table mode under x,y,z emf.

4. -dBm (negative decibels) is the power loss from a source with 1 milliWatt as a reference point.
if a source emits 1mW of signal and the receiver received 1 mW of signal, then dbm = 0.
1Watt = (10^(dbm / 10)) / 1000 = 10^((dbm - 30) / 10)
1milliWatt = 10^(dbm/10)
1pW = 10^((dbm + 90)/10)

5. Using the calbe, it should take few hours (battery capacity = 2.6Ah)
Using an adapter with 1Ah, it might take 2 hours - 3 hours.
