Why it must be exactly the Google-Maps?
There are so good API of Open Street Maps of the whole world, without this stupid letters - „For Development Purposes Only“.

Best regards ...
Johnny

Sorry again.
With the new code the refresh button and the station buttons do not work ! If you klick on a station, there come no info popup window !

Edit: In Mozilla Firefox !

In Google Chrome the map works perfect.

What else could we as users do to make the world map work properly? https does not work. I've already tried five different browsers, but the map stays dark. The problem is very annoying and it is safe to Google Maps. Does anyone have an idea ???
