I got a EMF390 recently and was looking at all the settings and trying to figure out how to access the higher frequency, it is listed under the specs that it is capable of up to 10gig rf, but I can only find setting that go up to 2.4 gig to 2.5gig under the rf spectrum mode. how do I access the higher freqs? or am I looking in the wrong place for it? Thank you in advance.

Hi herbw, the specific band came from the 2.4GHz and 240MHz spectrum. The 5-6GHz spectrum isn't available so that specific band can only come from those 2 bands.

The User Guide, page 18, indicates that in Vertical RF mode, the top reading is in a specific band, and the bottom readings are total in all bands.

How do I change the specific band for the top reading? I am interested in the 5 - 6 GHz band.

The EMF-390 detects RF up to 10GHZ in two modes: All-in-one and Vertical RF.

The RF Spectrum Analyzer up to 2.5GHz only.

Yeah, that would be a more ideal place for it unless there is some reason they are not sharing for putting it in the vertical mode RF section.

Thanks, I see it. wish they could put it in the spectrum mode, perhaps with an update..

If you put the EMF-390 in vertical mode and select RF it will show reading from .24 to 10GHz. This is the only place I can see what appears to be 10GHz support.

So I assume there is only a 2.5 gig limit on the rf range, perhaps you should change your selling point to reflect the true limit.
