I ran into a problem with my GMC-500+.

I want to contibute to gmcmap.com. This is working fine for short intervals with a period up to 4 min.
5 minutes or longer the device does not update anymore.
Power saving is disabled also screen does not turn off. Has anyone an idea, why the devices "forgets" to send data when period is 5 minutes or more?

You're pretty desperate to defend GQ, do you work for them?

Edit: Have you got a GMC-500+ that can communicate over WiFi with an update interval >= 5 minutes?

I don't know, but I'd like to know because my GMC-500+ is the same and it seems like it must be a bug of some kind that should be fixed.

Later: It looks like the WiFi is disconnecting for some reason, something is timing out and needs to be kept awake.
