Phones do have one, however some new phones use a new technique to load the battery, like samsung. I guess these chargers woudlnt work correctly with the GMC. GQ specifies which charger you have to use because if you do not they cannot make sure that its their fault in the case the device malfunctioned and you'll lose your warranty. So be careful. Also, the provided chargers are really cheap and pretty unsave. (I mean they have to protect YOU nad the device from mains voltage.)
