I love this device!!!!!
Having just had radiation therapy and having concern about being anywhere near other people and animals, I purchased this device in order to measure both the amount of radiation which I "emit" as well as the radiation"retained" by items used by me.
I have to admit that I started crying when I first held the 300 E and turned it on. It went off like a rocket and sounded like the old Sci-Fi films. Scared me quite a bit and made me question what I'd permitted to have done to me...Now, even though I still get scared - and depressed because I feel I shouldn't be anywhere near the people and creatures that I love - I'm also reassured as I gradually see the numbers drop.
It's when I try to measure the radiation"retained" by items I've used that we run into an area that could use more accessories. I wanted to see what was retained by an item I'd touched and what was retained by clothing I'd worn. In both cases, I had to have someone else read the device as I couldn't get anywhere near it without it taking off. Even that was problematic because the person brought their own radiation into play. So....what I'm thinking of is an accessory that can either be attached to or placed nearby that will display the numbers in font large enough that it can be read 15 feet away. I was thinking of something built like a "selfie" stick with a large digital display. That way, I'd set it up on top of the day's pile of clothes, power up the 300 plus and run out of range yet still be able to read the numbers. Has anyone else a suggestion of how to solve this issue?

You cannot make other things radioactive and you are no harm to other people. :)
Don't panic

That is a good idea. But currently version you can do followings:

1. turn on the data saving mode and check it later.
2. use the GMC-300 simulation software to connect the computer and then view the real-time data on another computer.

The new GMC-320 Plus V5 has WiFi and you can read the data from an computer or smartphone via internet on GMCmap.com.
