Some are at Safecast but many at "Line"!
It is a bit divided here, the Surfers are on Surfrider:
https://www.surfrider.jp,
some are on Youtube, or on Earthspiral, Google, Radnet, etc.

But also many People stopped it because we know the location of the Radiation,
know how and where she will be next.
Many People here got a Crashcourse about Radioactivity and understand it now.

My GMC-320 is in a bad "cosmetic" Shape but i upload Videos (Youtube) regularly, together with other Instruments.

Hi Nudnik:
Safecast does have the best geographic static maps. However currently there are only 6 active stations showing live 24/7 readings from Japan, and only 9 others world-wide. The sites that seem to have the best participation are those that do not demand unified sensors, and also filter out old irrelevant data. That would be Radmon.org and Netc.com. Netc shows at least 80 active Japanese sites on their 'limited' network (likely mostly government sites).

I uploaded some Data to the Map.

The GMC Brand is not popular here because it is a cheaply made Instrument

when i check him with a Reference Source!

Would be cool if you can provide live 24/7 readings :)

GBG12,

do you know the safecast project (ssafecast.org)? Very professional platform with decent hardware. I think this is where most japanese who are into "geiger counting" go. ;-)

Hello Setagaya-Observer;
Glad to hear your readings in Tokyo are not particularly high. You should know that the term "cheaply made" has negative meaning in English, implying poor quality and workmanship. That is definitely not true of the GMC line of detectors. Many of us have had units running for many years, and the accuracy is at least as good as any comparable-price Geiger-Muller tube. I think the real reason few from Japan are on this map is that GMC detectors are so versatile the users may be submitting data to other websites.

I think we need more time. So far the map only runs two month only.
