Enhanced Multi-Function PICKit 2 USB PIC Programmer and Debugger with build-in programing adapter

Windows system supported: Both 32bit and 64 bit Windows system supported. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7.

This item is about a brand new USB PIC programmer, Enhanced PICkit2 Programmer/Debugger is based on original Microchip PICkit 2 as blue print. It uses only USB connection to a computer and supports all regular PIC chips with very affordable price. It is a ready to go programmer for programming PIC chips.

The Enhanced PICkit 2 PIC Programmer/Debugger is a low-cost development tool with an easy to use interface for programming and debugging Microchip Flash families of microcontrollers.

The full featured Windows programming interface supports baseline (PIC10F, PIC12F5xx, PIC16F5xx), midrange (PIC12F6xx, PIC16F), PIC18F, PIC24, dsPIC30, dsPIC33, and PIC32 families of 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers, and many Microchip Serial EEPROM products.

It works with Microchip powerful MPLAB Integrated Development Environment (IDE) the PICkit 2 enables in-circuit debugging on most PIC? microcontrollers. In-Circuit-Debugging runs, halts and single steps the program while the PIC microcontroller is embedded in the application. When halted at a breakpoint, the file registers can be examined and modified.

The Programmer-To-Go, the stand alone programmer feature allows user to progam PIC chip without computer.

Enhanced design integrated a 40 pin ZIF programming module, so that user is able to off line programming for most of chips.

Additional multi-function features:
  • Four channel general I/O generator or mornitor.
  • Three channel Logic Analyzer
  • Realtime Serial RS232 UART mornitor. It can attatch to RS232(UART) port to mornitor serial RS232 UART communication data flow.
  • Serial RS232 UART tester. Send and receive data to other RS232(UART) devices for communication testing.
